Tee It Up! For The GFPD 2023 was another successful year! We raised over $185,000 for the Global Foundation for Peroxisomal Disorders! Over the first 8 years of our event, we’ve now raised an amazing $1.2 million!!

Max Chapman

When Max Chapman was 14 months old, he received the devastating diagnosis of Peroxisomal Biogenesis Disorder (PBD), a very rare disorder that will cause him to lose his sight and hearing and eventually cause life threatening damage to his kidneys, liver, and bones.  Treatments for PBD are very limited and many affected children do not live past the age of 10.   

The Global Foundation for Peroxisomal Disorders (GFPD) was created to fund much needed research around PBD and to support those families facing this horrible disorder.  Recently, they have made some major strides in their understanding of this disease, but additional funding is needed!  In our first seven years of Tee It Up, we have raised over $1,000,000 for the GFPD to help support cutting-edge medical research! 

In addition to funding medical research, the GFPD also provides crucial support to families affected by PBD and connects those families with the leading medical experts working on this disease.

Please join us as we raise money to support this amazing organization! Tee It Up 2023 will include our Happy Hour & Reception on Thursday, May 18th, along with our Golf Scramble on Friday, May 19th at Weibring Golf Club in Normal, IL.
